Job Description
The Catering Sales Manager will be responsible to look for new catering accounts and exceed revenue goals to ensure customer satisfaction.
Duties :
- Responsible for finding new clients (Individuals, companies, schools,universities) to hold catered events.
- Attend industry and networking events, telemarketing, advertising and contacting the competitions client base.
- Ensure catering orders go out as described, catered events are well-organized with a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Develop & maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers.
- Develop and deliver Menus & Banquet kits to potential customers.
- Create and prepare accurate catering proposals for potential customers, ensuring that the catering offer matches the profile of the event in terms of product selection and budget.
- Operate in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures (e.g. Food Health and Safety)
- Meet and exceed all agreed sales targets set by the General Manager
- Provide weekly and monthly sales activity reports
- Maintain and accurately update customer records
- Respond Efficiently to all customer inquiries in a polite and timely manner
- The duties of this post may require some weekend or evening work.
Job Requirements
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand both Arabic (fluent) and English (fluent)
- A car owner and driving license in order to conduct outbound sales and visit clients is preferable
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus, food preparation and presentation is a must
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to act independently with minimal or no supervision.
- Ability to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints independently.
