Requirements
- Ready for being hands-on individual contributor role, working in cross-functional agile team, defining and developing software components.
- Proficient with large scale application development with deep understanding of key architectural concepts that differentiate high performance, high availability, and scaling.
- Strong knowledge in developing API Services based on standard design patterns
- Knowledge and proficiency in SLDC best practices including coding standards, code reviews, build processes, testing, and deployment operations.
- Experience with managing and/or working with cross functional and remote teams
Qualifications
What we’re working with and want you to be experienced with:
- Ruby on Rails, Node.JS
- Experience with server side code, including server side javascript
- Code review of projects prior to release
- Unit and system test new services, releases and system upgrades.
- Developing the integration/middle layer in web apps
- Cloud deployment, such as to heroku, Google Cloud, amazon EC2 or others
- Experience building scalable and consistent RestAPI
- Excellent problem solving, debugging, design and debugging skills.
- Comfortable both working within an existing code base and writing code from scratch
- Excellent communications skills both in team, across team and with management and other disciplines.
- This position requires a self-starter and quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a passion for delivering a Wow experience.
