Job Description
- Optimize warehouse functions
- Focus on safety, cost management and business growth in all interactions and directives
- Create supply chain management strategies to increase efficiency and speed
- Manager logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, shipment and delivery, Rejections, and returns on products
- Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective
- Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.
- Plan, develop, organize, direct, manage and evaluate the personnel, operations and budget of an organization’s supply chain or a supply chain services company
- Develop analytics, systems and data management capabilities, including metrics and reports
- Direct, coordinate, assign, monitor and review the work of individuals engaged in supply chain related duties
- Manage vendor relationships (e.g.,third party logistics)
- Manage / coordinate the sales and operations planning process including supply / demand forecasting, inventory management, and on time delivery
- Develop and / or participate in the development of the supply chain strategy for the organization
- Direct and manage corporate governance and regulatory compliance
- Identify and manage risk within the supply chain
- Address tactical and strategic supply chain issues
- Plan, develop, organize, direct, manage and evaluate the personnel, operations and budget of an organization’s supply chain or a supply chain services company.
- Lead and manage production planning, customer service, purchasing, inventory control, forecasting,
- Warehousing, transportation and other areas are required.
- Develop and implement profit improvement plans and change management plans
- Resolve work related problems and prepare and submit progress - and other reports
- Communicate values, business goals, and represent the organization to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage contractor and subcontractor activities, reviewing proposals, developing performance specifications, and serving as a liaison with the organizations
- Support the development of supply chain based training materials and technical manuals
- Identify potential projects to deliver changes and improvements to the supply chain and commission select projects
Job Requirements
- 7 years of experience in a similar position in Medical and healthcare or distribution field specifically.
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
- Experienced with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office.
- This position requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process.
- Good facilitation skills are required.
