Job Description
- Orders goods needed based on direct manager’s request.
- Negotiates price and payment terms with vendors to receive the best offer.
- Chooses optimum shipping method and shipping company for the order based on its nature.
- Coordinates with the suppliers the required shipping documents for the shipment.
- Deals with government authorities
- Prepares shipping documents
- Communicates order arrival time to customs broker.
- Prepares proper documentation for the purchased goods and sends it to customs broker.
- Sends required money to customs broker for shipment release.
- Books transportation vehicles to transport goods from customs and to the warehouse.
- Supervises local procurement specialist and follows up that orders have been executed.
- Enters all international orders on ERP system.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration/Accounting
- 2-3 years experience in procurement and logistics
- Fluent in both spoken and written Arabic and English
- Excellent computer skills
- Previous experience in ERP system is a must
- Ability to communicate well and work through others
- Time management
- Excellent reporting skills
- Positive response to pressure
- Excellent research skills
- Ability to negotiate prices
- Ability to follow up constantly
