Job Description
- Reports on key issues in Almaza Bay that needs immediate action and management attention to mediate on-site conflicts and answer inquiries from potential project partners.
- Communication on routinely basis with security company, facilities and community manager and with other TP partners on site. (i.e.: Orange, Pier 88, Kite Center etc.) and solve issues that might rise in coordination with other TP departments.
- Builds strong relations with key internal and external players within Almaza Bay including hotels, government agencies, army units, Ministry of Transportation and Arabs.
- General knowledge of who is working on the site (main contractors, vendors, partners etc.), with responsibility that individuals are aware about site rules and procedures. Making himself as contactable as possible, making sure the right people have his number.
- Assesses various safety hazards, and determines the likelihood of an accident occurring. This involves conducting regular inspections to make sure everything is as it should be, which will involve looking for and reporting any hazards. With assessment on how much of a disruption, any potential accidents could cause, and how much they would cost to resolve.
- Creates a safety program/routine in place so that everyone knows the precautions and actions to take in case of an accident. It is your duty to ensure everyone knows of this, and you should determine the effectiveness of the controls in place.
- Provides recommendation on policies and procedures for Almaza Bay and ensure compliance with company or government regulations.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualification / Experience / Training:
- 5-7 years supervisory / management experience in similar field.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Previous experience with logistics / Transporting companies or Freight forwarding is a must.
- Familiar with using MS Office and technology tools.
