Job Description
- Provide expertise, advise and support to the Project Manager
- Participate or lead client meeting (kick off/ progress status / closing meetings) and interviews with the risk processes stakeholders
- Coordinate the activities of the team and review the work performed, in order to ensure adequate quality of the outcome
- Define Risk Governance roles and responsibilities
- Document risk processes through end to end "Data Lineage" approach, identify processes inefficiencies and possibility for automation (including functional analysis)
- Define a common Business Glossary / Data Dictionary across risk processes
- Define internal quality controls and key quality indicators along the entire risk data life-cycle
- Improve Risk Reporting framework to better fulfill the needs of recipients and support effective and efficient decision-making process
Job Requirements
- Degree in Economics / Engineering / Scientific Disciplines
- Minimum 3 years' of Risk / Finance experience at one or more Financial Services and/or Consultancy Company (preferable), with experience in supervising others
- Advisory with an understanding (in particular on processes and reporting) of one or more of the following risk areas: a) Credit Risk Management b) Enterprise Risk Management (Operational Risk, Risk Capital & Policies) c) Financial Risk (Liquidity Risk, Interest Rate Risk, Market Risk) d) Credit Control & Monitoring
- Proven background in processes mapping and reporting
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular Excel and Power Point)
- Strong communication skills, problem solving
- Team player and leader capabilities
- Team work capabilities and ability to communicate and work with an international team
