Job Description

  • Perform the full range of budget activities at a large corporate level.
  • Develop and monitor work procedures and budget guidelines
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the yearly budget and financial forecasts, as well as, the Long-term Business Plan when needed.
  • Analyze the financial aand economic indicators that can affect the Company’s budget.    
  • Identify the deviation between actual and budgeted financial results, reporting and explaining the monthly budget variances to the Company’s management.
  • Prepares variance analysis and a draft of comments for interpreting the actual vs. budget deviations.
  • Prepares all the required budget reports, MIS reporting, comprehensive presentations, departmental materials, and correspondence as per scheduled deadlines.
  • Structures and implement proper profit/cost centers system, analyzes revenues and cost variances of those different profit/cost centers, and controls the cost allocation.
  • Controls and approves actual expenditures within the approved budget and authorities, and reports on deviations with justifications.
  • Applies principle of cost accounting and MIS to provide management with detailed revenue/cost data not ordinarily supplied by general accounting systems.
  • Analyzes and implements operational budget control through meetings with different departments.
  • Supports management in preparing comprehensive studies for the Company's business plan and analyzes for alternative opportunities.
  • Prepares, implements, and updates the Long-term Business Plans and achievable goals.
  • Conducts capital budgeting and assessment for any new investment opportunity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and related to the scope of work and profession.
  • Conduct proper selection of securitized portfolio in light of best practices, MERIS concentration criteria, and FRA requirements. Choose the best mix of securitized contracts that guarantees maximum gain, cash proceeds, and surplus cash in favor of the Originator/Assignor (ATL).
  • Approach securitization advisors requesting proposals, compare offers received, and recommend the best parties to top management and the securitization steering committee (SSC).
  • Liaise with securitization parties pre-closing and post-closing date, with IT to create the virtual data room (VDR), and with internal departments involved in data gathering and document fulfillment.
  • Prepare monthly portfolio analysis along with all reports required by MERIS, custodian, FRA, EGX, and MCDR related to the transactions.
  • Create and implement securitization accounting treatments from derecognition until maturity.
  • Generate portfolio INFO report for originator management to help monitor the performance of all securitized contracts. 
  • Prepare net interest margin (NIM) report per contract on a monthly basis.
  • Consider all legal framework requirements and risk opinions.
  • Coordinate with treasury department in checks handling and other treasury duties related to securitization transactions.
  • Ensure the financial model is updated in a timely manner by the financial advisor with corridor changes, early settlement, etc.
  • Calculate coupons and ensure publishing of coupon dividends in time.
  • Develop securitization process, accounting scheme, and reports via Pixel Integrated System
  • Any other related duties when required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • 5-6 years of experience in a relative field
  • Excellent command of both English and Arabic languages.
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good knowledge of financial analysis
  • Skilled in budget preparation, financial modeling, economics, and finance.
  • Analytical and reporting skills.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
