Job Description
- Provide accurate data to the Senior Management team on the activities of the IPD in order to optimize strategic planning.
- Monitor& communicate with the medical team regarding the referrals to the IPD, acceptance and arranging admissions.
- Establish a robust system to facilitate regular observation of each team member delivering clinical care, monitor their practice and technical competence and evaluate their performance.
- Measure the consultants Response adherence compliance and take appropriate action in alignment with medical manager to ensure positive patient care outcome.
- Monitor and participate in resident doctors and the clinical Coordinator scheduling according to agreed working hours on daily basis.
- Ensure the delivery of case distribution and scheduling is in accordance with the hospital’s infection control rules and policies and procedures.
- Perform regular patient care round with Clinical pharmacist, Clinical dietician and Infection Control team to optimize medical care Patient Outcome.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained as per manufacturer’s instructions and Ensure all staff adhere to and are appropriately trained in the hospital policies, procedures and clinical guidelines.
- Ensure service sustainability through facilitating integrated team working across the In-Patient Units.
- Lead on all aspects of patient safety and quality to deliver the highest achievable standards.
- Communicates management’s medical-related decisions and directions to be followed by staff.
- Support duty manager with financial DAMA prevention by sharing the accurate medical status of all the patients to support in directing the discounts percentage for the relevant cases.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree of Medicine.
- Managerial experience within an inpatient setting in a hospital.
- 5-7 years of experience in medical managerial field in the same industry.
- Hospital management Diploma and/or MBA is a plus.
