SPA massage therapist

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, and others based on client needs and preferences.
• Assess clients' physical condition and determine appropriate massage techniques to address their needs (e.g., muscle tension, pain relief, relaxation).
• Communicate with clients to understand their health issues, preferences, and any contraindications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment, including proper sanitation of equipment and linens.
• Provide clients with aftercare recommendations and suggest additional treatments or services to support their well-being.
• Maintain accurate client records, documenting treatments and progress where applicable.
• Follow spa policies and procedures, including maintaining client confidentiality and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Promote spa services and retail products to clients.
• Stay current on industry trends, new techniques, and products to enhance client satisfaction and improve service offerings.
