Job Description
- Provide leadership and initiative to deliver new and complex high-quality solutions to clients in response to varying business requirements associated with the documentation and costing of the proposal.
- Incorporate in depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technology in conjunction with industry and business results.
- Utilize a combination of IBM standard and custom solutions and they develop complex, multiple years, custom solutions and associated cost cases, all with the goal to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services and/or solutions that meet client business and technical requirements and fulfill IBM's obligations. They are a key player within the engagement team collaborating on innovative ideas using proven approaches to deliver a winning solution.
- Work within larger pursuit teams (CTS, TSM, CSIL among others), actively managing the engagement process, driving project milestones, status reviews and other meetings.
- Interact with clients and other key stakeholders, as appropriate to the requirements, level of solution experience and skill.
- Understand the deal, the client's priorities, business and technical requirements, issues and tactical problems.
- Manage work on multiple engagements at one time balancing their schedules to meet the commitment dates and other deliverables for the deal. Turnaround time/cycle time is a critical factor in engagement schedules and work needs to be performed quickly and with high quality.
