Job Description
The Technical Office Engineer will be responsible for studying projects, preparing technical submittals, and coordinating with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing. The engineer will prepare commercial offers based on project requirements, ensure compliance with specifications, and support the sales cycle with accurate technical documentation. This role requires strong technical understanding, analytical skills, and the ability to work with drawings using AutoCAD.
Key Responsibilities:
Study project drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
Request pricing from suppliers and vendors and ensure alignment with project technical requirements.
Prepare commercial offers and pricing comparisons.
Prepare and submit technical submittals required for consultant/client approval.
Prepare product selections, datasheet reviews, and compliance checks.
Communicate with suppliers and vendors to verify materials, compliance, and lead times.
Coordinate with sales and procurement teams.
Prepare drawings or updates using AutoCAD when required.
Support technical document preparation, reports, and follow-ups.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (is a must).
- Females Preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in technical office or electrical engineering field (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Basic knowledge of Medium Voltage distribution systems, transformers, switchgear (SWG), and RMUs.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Experience in ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a structured, organized manner.
- Fluent in Arabic & English.
- Proficient in MS Office.
