Job Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how digital products function and look like.
- Plan and run workshops, journey mapping and ideation sessions.
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables).
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images.
Job Requirements
Required Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related field of study
- 2+ years' of experience in design
- Proficient in visual design and wireframing tools
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your attention to detail and the use of style guides.
- Interaction design principles; user research and personas, branding, typography and color theory, wireframing and prototyping, etc.
- Solid understanding of the web environment, GUI (screen layouts and composition), and style guide methods.
- Knowledge of wireframe and prototyping tools; e.g. InVision, Axure RP, Adobe XD.
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Affinity Designer, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Sketch.
- Must have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, software development phases, and web technologies.
- Teamwork and effective time-management, communication skills, and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- BSc in Design, Psychology, Information Science, Computer Science, or other relevant fields.
