Job Description

Job brief

  • We are looking for an Accounting Communications officer to supervise and maximize
  • Department’s efficiency. Manage, track and evaluate day-to-day activities and fulfilling
  • the Responsibilities including establishing budget & Department’s plan for the 20-21
  • Season, developing and implementing systems for competitive pricing, collections and expenses control, as well as, analyzing, verifying and reporting to Management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
  • Month and end-year process
  • Accounts payable/receivable
  • Cash receipts
  • General ledger
  • Payroll and utilities
  • Budgeting
  • Cash forecasting
  • Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
  • Capital assets reconciliations
  • Account statement reconciliations
  • Check runs
  • Fixed asset activity
  • Debt activity
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.
  • Serve as the Accounts Communications officer internally & externally.
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
  • Audit all System Accounts transactions.
  • Assign projects and direct staff (while train when needed) to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Meet financial Department objectives, deadlines set & targets.
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
  • Manage Pricing formulas for Products & Clients, as well as, Vendors & Suppliers.

Job Requirements

  • Proven working experience as Accounting Manager or Accounting Supervisor for 3 years
  • Minimum age : 30
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to direct, train and supervise.
  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
