Application Engineer

Key Responsibilities (Accountabilities):

•  Software development and application customization 
•  Responsible for design/architecture of software systems according to proposed technical solution 
•  Test software components to ensure module-level functionality and data structure consistency 
• Provide appropriate documentation including design documentation, system requirements specifications and end user documentation 
• Resolves issues found during testing in a timely manner
•  Implement code consistent with IT Security
•  Work with users to identify business requirements – evaluate and translate into technical Software specifications
•  Coordinate and manage planning, design and testing phases of Software Development Lifecycle Management methodology
•  Interface with infrastructure team on requirements and issues related to infrastructure systems
•  Communicate plan, progress, and issues in a timely manner 
• Align software change requests with business objectives, in compliance with Change management process
•  Working with IT Strategy departments to document and support Software Development Lifecycle Management methodology 
• Work with Project Manager as part of delivery team during project planning and execution
•  Works with Change Manager during change implementation 
• Works with Problem Analyst during root cause analyst 
• Provide guidelines, trainings and Standard Operational Procedures to IT Operations
•  3 rd. level support for his/her specific business application domain
•   Write and submit Knowledge briefs with focus on known error before new software release goes to production
