Job Description
- Responsible for the ownership (architecture/design/implementation) of complex software components and systems
- Lead the mobile team during software architecture and design
- Coach and mentor the team on software best practices (design, coding, troubleshooting, work breakdown, work estimation, refactor strategies, automated testing, etc.)
- Work closely with the backend team
- Partner with our Product Owner to plan work prioritization
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience leading mobile software projects from inception to delivery
- Experience as a tech lead where you were responsible to coach and mentor a team of developers
- Expert developer in either Android or iOS (One platform required) and a working knowledge of the other platform.
- Expert knowledge of and ability to communicate software architecture and design principles
- Proven track record of being the technical lead of software projects from inception to a successful release
- Experience working in an Agile team including Scrum, Kanban, or XP, and able to manage sprints using JIRA
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git)
