Job Description
- Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Manage general ledger and assist month-end and year-end close processes.
- Accounts payable/receivable.
- Payroll and utilities.
- Cash forecasting.
- Processing Revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
- Trust account statement reconciliations.
- Check runs.
- Fixed asset activity.
- Debt activity.
- Assist with audits and taxes, Prepare financial reports for taxes
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Meet financial accounting objectives.
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements.
- Prepare or direct preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and/or reports required by regulatory agencies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
- Proficiency in banking operations and Credit systems.
- Familiar with at least Egyptian Accounting Standards (EASs)
- Familiar with Egyptian taxes (income tax “deduction and addition” & employment tax & value-added tax & stamp tax) provided that he has participated in at least one or more examinations
- Saudi Labor Market Experience is a must
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Preferred to have experience in working in software companies
- 4+ years of accounting/finance experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
- Knowledge of Odoo - ERP System will be highly regarded
