Job Description
1.Plan for client account
- Lead client engagements and/or significant segments of large complex engagements sometimes concurrently, producing high-quality working papers and deliverables.
- Able to develop PR plans with clear objectives, strategies, and tactics
- Create tactical execution plans with clear timelines
- Develop detailed budgets for proposed plans
- Problem-solving with client conflict situations
2. Manage daily communication with client's Point of contact
- Maintain regular communication with client teams; Attend & lead tactical/ monthly meetings with clients
- Ensure all reports are complete and sent to client in due time
- Ensure processes are implemented thoroughly
3.Oversee project execution
- Agree project performance objectives with account teams and other project team members as liaised with their direct managers; Assign tasks to team, oversee execution, review performance on objectives
- Ensure smooth & seamless project execution for multiple concurrent projects, adherence to deadlines and forward planning.
4.Content Creation & Development
- Excellent writing skills in English and Arabic is a MUST
5.Manage & develop people
- Actively work to increase retention of staff and peers and recruit good potentials.
- Responsible for the morale of Communication Executives/ Consultants on client engagements and provide ongoing coaching.
- Developing the skills of the Communication Consultants and Executives
- Identify team skill gaps and coach individual members to fill the gaps (e.g client communication, content development, press-release writing, presentation skills etc)
- Work on preparing successors with the necessary skills
Job Requirements
- Graduate with relevant degree in the arts, media or public relations
- Strong interpersonal, writing and project management skills, a creative flair and deep knowledge of the media.
- Work experience in related fields including journalism or consulting offers transferable skills to a career in PR
- Experience of directing business-to-business (B2B) or business to consumer (B2C) PR accounts
- Agency experience is preferred
- Evidence of copywriting, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, Strategic planning and client liaison skills
- Strong communication with excellent presentation and data analysis capabilities
- A passion for creating stories, building narratives and achieving strategic impact.
- Commercially aware and business savvy
- Good industry knowledge and contacts experience in building influential networks
- Outstanding organization with an ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios
- Service focused and sensitive to confidential information
