Job Description

  • Plan and manage all aspects of MICE events, including logistics, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and requirements.
  • Research and recommend venues, accommodations, and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, hotels, and venues to secure favorable terms.
  • Coordinate event logistics, such as catering, transportation, audiovisual needs, and registration processes.
  • Oversee on-site event management to ensure smooth execution and address any issues that arise.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners.
  • Monitor event budgets and provide regular updates to clients on expenses.
  • Gather feedback post-event to improve future MICE offerings.

Job Requirements

Education:

University degree and preference for tourism and hotel graduates.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in event planning, MICE coordination, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with the MICE industry and its best practices.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good English writing.
  • Familiar with catering.

  • Customer-focused with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Certification in event planning or hospitality management is a plus.
