Job Description
- Cost Analysis: Analyze production costs and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and analyze inventory costs and variances.
- Cost Accounting Systems: Maintain and update cost accounting systems and procedures.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to gather and analyze cost data.
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role within flexible packaging industry is a MUST.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
- Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
- BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant study
