We are looking for a Trainer to play an integral role within our organization. A systems trainer is someone who educates and instructs employees of a company on how to use different software and internal computer systems. Those who work within this sector obviously have to have a strong background in information technology, and the type of systems they will teach will depend on the environment in which they are working.
Responsibilities: -
- Delivering Upland training to customers and internal stakeholders via a virtual classroom.
- Participating in the development and management of training documentation and curriculum, ensure they are the latest revisions and accessible to all.
- Updating internal systems with relevant training information and bookings
- Assisting with client deliverables associated with implementations.
- Simultaneously managing multiple client engagements.
- Leading or participating in the Ask the Experts sessions.
- Providing product feedback to product management.
- Research and apply innovative training approaches to ensure the best product adoption.
- Staying current with new releases, features, and functionality of the applications.
- Extracting training KPI’s and act accordingly.
- Creating and updating training calendars as per timelines needed.
- Partnering with other Upland product lines to ensure best practices are applied.
- Performing other duties as required.
Requirements: -
- Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise software (SaaS), application operations, professional services, technical presales or product management role in a technology environment.
- Minimum 2 years of delivering training or developing training materials to internal/client trainees.
- Demonstrates general understanding in Software Development, Compute, DB, Security concepts.
- Proven work experience as an IT Trainer, Technical Trainer or similar role
- Experience designing technical course material
- Familiarity with web-based learning platforms and modern educational techniques
- Excellent presentation skills in all delivery formats, online or over the phone.
- Learns new technologies quickly with self-directed initiative, taking advantage of all available resources, and seeking additional resources when needed.
- Passion to make customers successful through the training experiences.
- The ability to understand their pain points and translate that into powerful and meaningful training sessions.
- High level of flexibility, creativity, and dependability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (French would be a bonus!)
- Proven ability in being self-motivated with excellent time management and organization skills.
- Ability to establish and build effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Able to multi-task and deliver under pressure.
- Flexible in delivering training outside of standard Eastern Time. Desired Skills:
- Prior experience delivering remote training courses.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems, Outlook, Internet Browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari), CRM systems (Salesforce.com).
