About the role:  "ZEBRA Business Development Manager" You need  to be  responsible for developing the channel sales of Zebra Technologies products in the territory. By increasing the number of channel partners who purchase Zebra products from Aptec’s existing IT reseller channel as well as to incremental/new channel.Responsibilities:

 

  • Achieve the targeted Revenue and GP margin by driving customer breadth, product mixing, regional coverage and coverage of all customer segments.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the channel sales of Zebra Technologies products in the territory. By increasing the number of channel partners who purchase Zebra products from Aptec’s existing IT reseller channel as well as to incremental/new channel.
  • The BDM will develop a sustainable pipeline of both run rate and project business. Moreover, the BDM will broaden the range of products sold from the Zebra portfolio to both existing and new reseller partners. 
  • The BDM will identify opportunities with Aptec’s partners, by acquiring a proficient knowledge of the products and solutions in the portfolio and in coordination with channel sales staff from other business units help to develop cross sell opportunities with end to end product solutions.
  • Develop database or channel partners in order to find new customers and increase volume of business with Existing ones
  • Analyze the customer database in assigned region, in order to identify new opportunities and growth strategies for assigned region.
  • Projection of sales and survey of customers buying plans
  • Meeting with all top key Accounts in the assigned territory database to discuss areas of improving relations/business.
  • Understanding the nature of the customer's business, business cycle and business potential.
  • Submit to product manager sales plan of pipeline, forecast and business closed on beginning of the every week.
  • Submit a monthly sales report, forecast for next month and a lost business opportunities report on 1st of every of the month to the product manager for assigned region.
  • Monitoring performance customers on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis and providing information to the respective product manager regularly as an update on your territory
  • Maintain close relations with the PM on pipeline, leads and projects in your region
  • Report to respective product manager the results and actions - on closed business/ and Submitting a forecast for forthcoming month and lost business listing out valid reasons  
  • Communicate to the customers regularly any promotions/ special offers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist Product Manager in creating and updating Customer Loyalty Programs and communicate same to key business partners
  • Feedback market information on competitors’ activity, product availability and pricing to the PM
  • Prepare sales plan on top 10 - 15 customers (per country) and submit to product manager every qtr.
  • Implement and execute the plan for top 10 - 15 (per country) customers
  • Be aware of Aptec position in the market and the value added services we offer and to communicate this to the channel effectively. Providing information to the line manager on the performance of the region regularly.
  • Develop, execute, & maintain good relations with the reseller channel in assigned region.
  • Facilitating, solving work problems and participating in the activities of the sales team.
  • Assisting the team in developing selling strategies, in order to maximize profitability.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications and Educational Requirement

  • Graduate with 5+ years experience (2 years relevant experience is a must)
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Basics grounding of the technical nature of IT products
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excellent PC skills including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self starter, self motivated and a team player
  • Attention to details, good selling on the telephone and time management skills,
  • Good planning and self-organizing skills
  • Customer orientated, approachable.
  • Multi-taker and works well under pressure
  • Driving license
  • Multinational experience
