Tax Specialist

Tax Compliance

• Prepare and manage filing the Egyptian tax returns for CIT, VAT, Stamp tax, withholding tax and any other local taxes as applicable to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Ensure and supervise filing of all tax returns for ITS group where it has operations and tax obligations.
• Carry out entry of all data related to all taxes ensuring proper documentation and approvals in order to keep the financial system up to date.
• Perform tax related activities such as posting tax entries, performing reconciliations and adjustments when required, tax fillings, processing tax payments and maintaining tax documentations as rules and regulations,
• Process calculation of CIT, VAT, Stamp tax, withholding tax and any other local taxes.
• Contact with other departments to receive the data required to calculate taxes or supporting documentation and to maintain good relationships with the other departments.
• Assist in the implementation of any law changes in coordination with the tax advisor and/or the head office.
• Collect and organize data of country-by-country report “CbCR’ from subsidiaries and Head Office as per OECD regulation.
• Collect and organize data to be compliant with “CBCR” notifications and Transfer Pricing “TP” obligatio7.

Reporting

• Report ongoing taxation activities to direct manager in order to inform on activity status,
• Assist in activities pertaining to collating and reviewing account payables tax retention to keep track of transactions.
• Prepare status reports where ITS group has operations and tax obligations.
• Prepare reports of International Tax “CBCR, TP, etc.” status.
• Coordinate with tax units and KFH HQ to obtain the required data to calculate shareholders’ Zakat.

Internal and External Audit

• «As required, liaise with and provide internal and external auditors with relevant financial information and tax
• supporting documentation in order to properly complete the audit process.
•  Manage ail Egyptian tax controversy matters, ensuring that tax assessments, settlements, and disputes with the
• authorities and legal courts are handled property.

Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices taking into account ‘international leading practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and Productivity improvement

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures (if applicable)

• Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
