Job Description
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
- Maintaining current production systems and other integrated environments
- Working on ways to automate and improve internal processes
- Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and hot-fixes when necessary
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.
- Pitch in the systems development when necessary
Job Requirements
- B.Sc or M.Sc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant degree
- Excellent command of English
- 1-3 years experience in the field
- Excellent knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, JavaScript, … etc.)
- Previous experience with Programming overall
- Excellent Knowledge of data structures, design patterns and algorithmic approaches
- Strong background in Linux/Unix administration
- Previous experience with Virtual Machines and Containerization using Docker
- Experience using Git as a version control system
Extra Qualifications:
- Continuous Integration and Continuous delivery, especially using Jenkins
- Configuration Management tools, especially Puppet or Ansible
- Infrastructure as Code, especially using Transformer or AWS CloudFormation
- Cluster orchestration tools, especially Kubernetes
- Experience with Cloud providers, especially AWS and Azure
