Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. Developer who specializes in mobile development, to support mobile app development, and ensure designs are in compliance with best practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the product team to develop and maintain mobile applications.
- Design and develop hybrid applications using ReactNative
- Analyze problems and consider existing architecture as well as future functionality when developing solutions.
- Contribute across the full technology stack.
- Assist customer support specialists to diagnose and patch reported issues.
- Optimization of the application for performance and scalability.
- Optimize performance across devices and browsers
- Develop and maintain the app primarily in JavaScript
- Analyze the identification and maintenance of 3rd party tools/libraries
- Help troubleshoot issues and optimize performance
- Act as part of a broader development team using an agile/scrum methodology
- Participate in development discussions, design, and architecture of the app as the feature set grows
- Collaborate and mentor other members of the team
Job Requirements
- 2+ years mobile app development experience using Android and iOS development experience.
- Experienced with all phases of app development from prototyping to publishing to the App Store and Google Play.
- Developing and maintaining new and existing code for mobile applications following best practices using the React Native framework.
- Experience with App Provisioning and Release Processes.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs.
- Analytical thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and clients.
- Self-motivated and continuous improvement on skillset and product
- Great at writing tests with testing frameworks
- Experience JavaScript development (e.g., React Native, NodeJs, React, Angular)
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications (e.g., on AWS)
- Ability to gather, understand and translate business & technical requirements
