Job Description
- Following up on fire extinguishers (fire extinguishers) and refills them by the company responsible for maintenance.
- Following up on boxes, hoses, and fire hydrants with weekly testing for the same.
- Following up maintenance of fire alarms by the company responsible for
- Maintenance and carry weekly maintenance check-ups
- Following up on wearing personal protection tasks for employees in each department whereas he will be responsible for the inventory stock and qualifying approved suppliers for the same.
- Heading and Coordinating with members of the Safety Committee and presents all their reports for discussion and resolution.
- Detecting and identifying hazards and notifies the administration concerned through proper NCR reports
- Completing all occupational safety and health files and records, as illness records, injures records and presenting them to local authorities, and collecting of the required approvals.
- Following up on all violations in the site and recommend corrective measures to prevent the reoccurrence of the same
- Renewing the company OHS approval and maintaining required records for the same and submission for the local authority
- Preparing semi-annual statistics of occupational safety and health and submission, collecting approvals from the local authorities
- Inspect all areas of stations and ensure it is secure against fire hazards.
- Ensure the readiness of both fire alarm systems and Fire fighting
- Maintain all records for HSE and sharing the same with direct managers.
- Developing and submitting the emergency civil defense and fire plan to the concerned authorities, review it periodically, and collect its approval.
- Inspect stores and make sure items are safe.
- Running The periodical meeting of the Occupational Safety and Health Committee.
- Do onsite training for the workers and staff for all related SHE
- Generate and approve the SHE manuals
- Generate and approve the SHE policy for the station
- Generate Risk assessment plans for the stations and coordinate with cross-function departments to eliminate such risks
- Generate evacuation plans and all required signs over the stations
- Ensure safe handling, loading, and offloading processes over the station.
- Collection of annual civil defense approvals.
- Collection of Environmental approvals.
- Responsible for hygiene, food safety practices at the station.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor in Engineering.
- 5-10 years of experience.
- OSHA certified NEBOSH certified is preferred.
- Excellent command of the English language (Written/Spoken).
- Excellent command of MS Office Apps.
- Should show Leadership & Management Skills.
- Ability to deal with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
