Location: Saudi Arabia (residents of KSA only)
Job Summary:
The Salesman will be responsible for driving sales of aftermarket spare parts for commercial trucks in Saudi Arabia. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local market, excellent sales skills, and a deep knowledge of the heavy trucks spare parts industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and target potential customers in the heavy trucks.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Present and promote Seaport’s spare parts offerings to potential clients.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Provide feedback to the sales team and management on market conditions and customer requirements.
- Product Knowledge:
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of Seaport’s products, including aftermarket spare parts for brands like Mercedes Benz, MAN… etc.
- Educate clients on product features, benefits, and advantages.
- Sales Administration:
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
- Report on sales performance, lost sales and market trends to the Sales Manager.
- Networking & Representation:
- Represent Seaport at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Build a strong network of industry contacts and potential clients.
Job Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering (preferred), or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 7-10 years of sales experience in the automotive spare parts industry, preferably with a focus on heavy trucks.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with the Saudi Arabian market and customer base is mandatory.
- Skills:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a results-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Good understanding of heavy trucks spare parts and aftermarket products.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
