Job Description
- Forecasting planning and managing all Materials and Equipment procuring process from suppliers, according to different needs arising from bids, tenders, production lines, replenish stocks requests or/and direct customers’ orders.
- Managing the whole procuring process, till having the items required on board wherever it needed; including the logistics and distributions process.
- Compiles and blend organization requirements with external market conditions to develop optimal procuring strategies considering the potential shortfalls and maintain risk plans.
- Control purchasing department’s budgets.
- Define and conduct comprehensive supplier and quotations and analysis according to strong criteria to choose the proper suppliers/vendors, optimal prices and payment, delivery.
- Accordingly conduct process of filtering; selecting, planning and leading the complex negotiations process with suppliers / vendors. Issuing and authorized purchasing orders for all needed materials, equipment or services.
- Whenever needed prepare short term or long-term contracts and agreements and conducts its meetings review, for supplying materials or services and authorized it with local or offshore suppliers/vendors.
- Maintain proper and beneficial vendor's / supplier’s relations based on approved suppliers list and periodical strong supplier’s evaluation systems.
- Develops, reviews, approves and improves administrative and purchasing procedures to maintain economy and efficiency of purchasing operation.
- Leading and Driving, analyzing and reporting against cost reduction and process improvement at every stage of procurement process.
- When needed, establishing and maintaining an “immediate on-demand” re-supply from suppliers
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-5 years in procurement or supply chain.
- Minimum of 1 year in Healthcare.
