Job Description
- Manage the warehouse operation in compliance with company’s policies and standards.
- Determine material inbound /outbound handling and storage along with warehouse capacity and partners requirements.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse layout considering material flow and handling.
- Plan and monitor staffing requirements to ensure productivity, operational efficiency, and high service level to all partners.
- Manage stock control, reconcile stock imbalance and other pending transactions on SAP.
- Coordinate with fleet and distribution manager, and oversee daily workflows between clients, partners, and warehouse floor.
- Enforce safety standards and procedures in compliance with a healthy work environment and legal requirements.
- Manage inventory count cycles on a weekly basis as per the in/outbound movements for each item and pinpoint the variance if any.
- Support the senior management team in preparing the annual budget, schedules expenditures, warehouse operating cost control, KPIs reporting, and analyzing variance.
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a warehouse operation manager of at least 10 -12 years.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management procedures, warehousing KPIs, and best practices.
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
- Hands on experience in using SAP is a must.
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
