Job Description
- Provide technical support to teammates.
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
- Collaborate with other software developers and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web-applications built in various technologies.
- Assist in the collection and documentation of user’s requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
- Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
- Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
- Package and support deployment of releases.
- Work with teammates in the migration of legacy applications.
- Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.
- Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
- Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties.
- Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time.
- Provide third-level support to business users.
- Research and evaluate a variety of software products.
- Ensure quality of technical and application architecture and design of systems across the organization.
- Effectively research and benchmark technology against other best in class technologies.
Job Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 3-7 years of coding experience in MERN Stack (NodeJS, JavaScript, Recat.JS and Mongo Databases) is a must.
- At least 1 year hands-on in TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience in performance tuning, debugging, monitoring
Technical Skills:
- Expert knowledge of developing Front-end applications with React and Redux.
- Excellent knowledge developing scalable and highly-available Restful APIs using NodeJS technologies
- Practical experience with MySQL, MongoDB, GraphQL and Redis.
- Well versed with CI/CD principles, and actively involved in solving, troubleshooting issues in distributed services ecosystem
- Strong understanding of micro-services architecture.
- Understanding of containerization, experienced in Docker, Kubernetes.
- Understanding of token-based authentication (Rest, JWT, OAuth)
- Possess expert knowledge of task/message queues to include but not limited to: RabbitMQ
- Hands-on Azure, AWS deployments.
- Hands-on Atlassian products: Jira, Confluence...etc
Functional Skills :
- Experience in following best Coding, Security, Unit testing and Documentation standards and practices
- Experience in Financial and Fintech enterprise environment preferred
- Experience in Agile methodology.
Soft Skills :
- Able to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, increasing their productivity and effectiveness, by sharing deep knowledge and experience.
- Self-motivator and self-starter, Ability to own and drive things without supervision and works collaboratively with the teams across the organization.
- Have excellent soft skills and interpersonal skills to interact and present the ideas to Senior and Executive management
