Job Description

  • Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
  • Devise and review specifications for products or processes
  • Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
  • Supervise quality inspectors, chemists and other staff and provide guidance and feedback
  • Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
  • Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements
  • Approve the right products or reject defectives
  • Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis for non-conformities raised by the quality people on monthly basis.
  • Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met
  • Submit detailed annual report to global quality director with achievements done for last year objectives and the suggested objectives of the coming year.
  • Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures
  • Participate as an effective team member in quality audits from customers and different regulatory bodies.
  • Compiling needed Technical data sheets and communicate with customers over quality issues whenever needed and requested.
  • Resolve issues between quality staff and production when a situation comes to an urgency.
  • Others: To carry out any tasks given to him by the top management to achieve the objectives and any orientations in favor of the work

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in a technical discipline (Science or Engineering).
  • 5 or more years’ experience in a manufacturing or quality environment
  • In depth knowledge and/or formal training in quality principles and technical tools (Quality Systems ISO 13485:2016, ISO 9001:2015, problem analysis, statistical tools and other quality methodologies) with the ability to train other staff and provide coaching as needed.
  • Demonstrated computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and statistical tools).
  • Experience in providing concise executive summaries of quality issues, changes needed or made, results delivered.
  • Quality control certification advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Highly conscientious and diligent.
  • Resident in Alexandria is a must.
