Job Brief:
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through creating & applying effective sales strategies, forging strong relationships with clients.
To excel in this role, you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business.
Responsibilities:
- Researching, planning, and implementing new target markets initiatives.
- Creating development plans, forecasting sales targets & growth projections.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Setting goals for the business development team and developing strategies to meet those goals.
- Training business developers and sales colleagues & helping team members to develop their skills.
- Preparing sales presentations & reports, and participating in sales meetings
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Job Requirements
- 10 years successful consultative selling experience in Translation & Localization or other service verticals.
- Experience in South Africa Market
- Proven experience in managing sales & business development team members.
- Background and experience of selling large strategic deals.
- Ability to develop sales strategies for different verticals & be able to present a cost benefit analysis for target clients.
- Have strong leadership skills.
- Fluent in English
