Job Description
Main Job Duties:
- Check reroutes freight as needed to meet demands and minimize costs &to increase Co. profit share.
- Send a written offer to clients.
- Keep a Soft & Hard record for each Job & offer.
- Receive the shipping declarations from customers and Book with Carriers, Agents.
- Co-Ordinate with customers & Customs Broker to arrange/prepare the shipment
- Documents for Customs Declarations.
- Handle the IMCO cargo handling, OIL field equipment handling.
- Prepare the final shipping declarations; follow VGM processes with Clients& Carriers.
- Follow up and review OBLs drafts & Issuing HBLs.
- Follow up all opened operations & to provide the clients with the requested information
- About the status of their cargo on daily basis.
- Handle Import & Export, (Ocean, Air, Inland) FCL & LCL, Sending Pre Alerts to related parties, (International &Domestic).
- Follow up the Carriers and sub-contractor invoices and compare it with our agreed rates.
- Issue payment requests to the accounting department attached with related invoices.
- Receive shipment original documents.
- Issue a Job account & presented to account department to issue co. invoices.
- Send a weekly operation report to the responsible Manager.
- Follow up client’s claims with carriers & to prepare the requested documents to be presented to co. Legal departments if needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-4 years of experience in the same field.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and presentation skills.
- Be numeric and be able to problem solve under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
- Familiar with industry standard software and be fully competent in Microsoft Windows.
- Proactive with a commercial view.
- Experienced in Process Management & the application of Quality systems.
- Able to manage change and continuous improvement programs.
- A team player with excellent time management skills.
- Excellent command of written & spoken English is essential.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
