Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Civil & U/G.Reference: PIR 442201410Project: Hail & GashaJob Location: Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, UAEJob type/Contract: Temporary.Starting date: May 2024 (As soon as visa is provided)Duration: 36 MonthsHours/rotation: 60 days on site, 10 days off (paid) +2 days traveling (paid).Benefits:Single Status.Accommodation on Site.Local Transportation on Site.Round trip ticket to home country on each rotation (Economy class). Job summary/Role descriptionReports to the Construction Contract Manager/Engineer.Responsible for entering, in the specific Data Base, the works performed by Subcontractors and for detecting, both before and after, any deviation from budget valuesDuties and responsibilitiesTo prepare the Subcontractor’s accounts in accordance with the subcontract.To check that the accounts prepared by the Subcontractor are in line with contractual clauses, with Project documents and have been approved by the Discipline Supervisors.To verify and check that all accounting documents have been duly approved and are accompanied where necessary by explanatory drawings and sketches.To collect estimated quantities to completion and prepare the cost control tabulations.Maintain proper filing of all Subcontracts and accounting documents in accordance with PCSAP.Expedite and ensure timely receipt of accountings and other deliverables from SubcontractorsAssist Subcontracts Administration Manager (SAM) in the evaluation and verification of extra worksPerson SpecificationKnowledge & QualificationsDiploma or a degree in a civil engineering.ExperienceMinimum 10 -15 Years of experience in construction of large Oil & Gas/petrochemical projects / EPC projects.Skills and AbilitiesTeam-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.Fluent English.Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.Strong interpersonal, team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.Attention to detail, strong communications and interpersonal skills.
