Job Description

Hiring a full-time Pre Sales Engineer in Cairo, Egypt! This role will work directly with Senior Team members in Egypt and Canada to drive pipeline through personalized outreach to multiple stakeholders within key prospect & customer accounts in the construction, BIM, and Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills, also should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services
  • Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization
  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet them
  • Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
  • Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
  • Draw up client contracts - depending on the size of the company, this task may be completed by someone else or agreements may not be as formal
  • Ability to write technical proposals and tender documents
  • Liaise with the finance team, warehousing, and logistics departments as appropriate
  • Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
  • Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate
  • Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world
  • Providing a world-class prospect and customer experience through every interaction
  • Become a product expert
  • Keep meticulous records of interactions with leads in our CRM (salesforce.com)
  • Help to build scalable demand generation campaigns based on data

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (MBA, PMP is preferred)
  • 3+ years' prior industry-related (Oil and Gas) business development experience
  • Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them
  • Commitment to pursuing a career in sales
  • Consistent track record of overachieving
  • Empathic listener and persuasive communicator
  • Competitive, resilient, and highly motivated
  • A great attitude and love for teamwork
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Arabic languages
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Very good in spoken & written English.
