Job Description
- Java Application Development
- Database development to support Java applications
- Object-orientated Analysis and Design
- GUI Application Design
- Will take over a commercial, n-tier Java client-server application that processes large volumes of real-time data.
- Work with Team Lead/Project Manager for planning, estimation, documentation, and status reporting
- Participates in program lifecycle maintenance including bug fixing and feature altering, adding, or removal
Job Requirements
- Senior Java Developer (7+ years of overall software development with at least 5+ years in Java)
- Experience with Java RMI and real-time client-server application development
- Experience with Java web development, especially with Apache Tomcat
- Experience with Netbeans IDE
- Development experience with database applications using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database backends
- Experience using SQL (writing queries, views, and updates)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks to completion
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
