Job Description
- Manage fleet team, assign job orders , and ensure their commitment
- Setting the prices for the fleet cost upon market survey and assigned calculations
- Ensure the adherence of fleet operations according to the assigned orders & plans
- Following up & handling the major issues released (trucks shortage , delay, extra cost, needed cash payment …)
- Negotiate with suppliers, vendors when needed
- Ensure the maintaining of fleet database (trucks , drivers , vendors ) and their compliance with company rules
- Ensure the updating of fleet system with the accurate data
- Follow up & ensure the implementation of (onboarding application system )
- Manage the creation of drivers profiles on system & assigning job orders
- Manage any new projects related to fleet by making visits on ground , gathering information / requirements , and evaluating if will be applicable
- Responsible for generating status reports on daily , weekly & monthly basis
- Make weekly visits for branches , and on demand in case of big bulks
- Ensure increasing of (trucks , drivers , vendors) network
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Logistics or Accounting.
- 7+ years in a logistics role.
- Experience in the transportation , trucking industry.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
- Quantitative ability.
- Attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
