Job Description
- Developing efficient driver schedules to maximize profits.
- Manage Staff within the transport section so they adhere to strict schedules.
- Assist in deciding whether to lease or buy vehicles.
- Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
- Developing strategies for greater fuel efficiency and provide monthly fuel usage report to the Operations Manager.
- Registering and licensing all vehicles under Company’s management.
- Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and Provide monthly Vehicle Maintenance cost report to the operations Manager.
- Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
- Finding ways to cut costs and maximize profits.
- Assisting in the recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet rules.
- Responsible for operations ground safety and safety driving.
- Any other duties as assigned.
