Senior Accountant

Candidates must hold a valid and transferable Iqama. If your Iqama is not transferable, please do not apply.

Responsibilities:

Manage and report all cash activities on a daily and monthly basis.
Submits appropriate paperwork for monthly sales.
Maintain fixed asset reporting.
Record journal entries into database and ensure supporting documentation is attached.
Perform various month end reconciliations and work to resolve any discrepancies.
Organize and lead the monthly income statement review.
Assist with the organization of the quarterly balance sheet reviews.
Perform required financial reviews as required by ZATCA.
Perform and manage monthly closing and assist with year-end closing.
Particular interest in feasibility studies and sound financial reporting.
Maintain a thorough understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structure.
Informs and follows-up with the Manager if reconciliation between general ledgers accounts and subsidiary ledgers are not met. Records all adjusting, closing and reversing entries to attain reconciliation in such cases (after the requisite approval).
Executes for all monthly accounts’ payable procedures, and batches for entry of payment transactions (payments, debit notes, credit notes, invoices) related to accounts payable into the General Ledger with respect to all the purchases, expenses and goods outwards.
Entering invoices in system.
Creating payments (Cheques, Cash etc. as required) or applying prepayments.
Perform month end close activities related to Cost Accounting.
Prepare actual vs. plan (budget) analysis.
Perform costing and menu pricing.
Perform all kinds of inventory supporting activities for all cost centers.
Conduct proper financial analysis for all activities.
