Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated *2 Junior Accountant* to join our finance team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and an eagerness to grow in the field of finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting functions, including bookkeeping, tracking sales, managing stock, processing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records using our ERP system.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Bookkeeping:
Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions.
Post journal entries and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
2. Tracking Sales:
Monitor and record sales transactions daily.
Assist in generating sales reports for management review.
3. Inventory and Stock Management:
Track inventory levels and update stock records in the ERP system.
Assist in the preparation of inventory reports and stock valuations.
4. Payments and Receivables:
Process payments from clients and ensure timely recording of receipts.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable for overdue payments.
5. ERP System Maintenance:
Regularly update financial data in the ERP system to ensure accuracy.
Assist in system integration and ensure smooth data flow within the system.
6. Supporting Month-End Closing:
Assist in preparing reports for month-end financial closing.
Ensure that all transactions are recorded in the correct period.
7. General Administrative Support:
Assist senior accountants in preparing financial statements and reports.
Provide support for audits and other financial processes as required.
