Internship Description

We are searching for an organized self-starter to join our team as the Operations Intern. The Operation Intern will be responsible for assisting the COO build the fintech. The job description will range from entry level job requirements to more scope and experience depending on the intern talent and ability to progress and learn. 

To be successful as an Operations Intern, you should possess excellent communication skills and be able to juggle multiple tasks. We look for creative, curious, proactive and pleasant candidates with strong organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. 

The duration of the internship program is 6 months. It is an evaluative paid internship with the possibility of return offers, depending on the company's needs.
 


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the COO in product development expansion and coordination of teams taking part in the projects.
  • Collaborate with the COO in operational issues. 
  • Scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and team building sessions as required.
  • Developing and qualifying new sales leads through various lead generation methods.
  • Formulating emails, memos, presentations, and other materials to communicate with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Promptly answering the questions of staff and other stakeholders.
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining relationships with vendors.
  • Indulging in recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Gather data and prepare reports as requested.
  • Analyzing all operations and forwarding suggestions for improvement to the COO.
  • Preparing market intelligence reports. 
  • Defining product roadmap based on market research and insights. 
  • Testing product and consistently following up on iterations and product adjustments. 

Internship Requirements

  • BS or BA in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or Entrepreneurship.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and ambiguous environment.
  • Attention to details; ensure deliverables are always of a high quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to be proactive and take the initiative.
  • Superb organizational skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • A willingness to learn.
  • Able to build partnerships and work well in teams.
  • Knowledge of the Fintech ecosystem in the Middle East.
  • Pleasant character with team player readiness.
