Company: Arab Contractors
Location: In the one of its sites in or close to Cairo
Dates: 2/7/17 - 28/7/17 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Fees: 200 EGP for mainstream students in public universities and 500 EGP for credit hour students in public and private universities. The fees goes towards the company, getting you a helmet.
Job Description:
- Distinguished Mechanical Power & Energy Engineering Senior Undergrads have an opportunity to participate in a field internship with the Arab Contractors.
Responsibilities
- The intern will monitor and take part in a hands-on manner in the overhauling of heavy construction machinery that needs servicing.
- The intern will assist in the operation, troubleshooting, characterization, dismantling, measuring, servicing, overhauling, reassembling and testing of heavy machinery and engines in the central workshop or at any of the sites in the vicinity of Cairo.
Internship Requirements
Qualifications:
- Registered at an accredited Egyptian University
- Expected to graduate in 2018, 2019 or 2020
- [Plus] Previous field work experience
- [Plus] Knowledge of Internal Combustion Engines
- [Plus] Knowledge of Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems
- Proficient computer skills: Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Email.
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize and work towards objectives without close supervision.
