Job Description:
- Analyze market reports to determine where to seek out new business and planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Establish contact with new business opportunities establishing rapport and setting up meetings.
- Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products.
- Create proposals for existing customers to better help them with their business while utilizing company products and services.
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations, sales displays and Developing quotes and proposals.
- Maintain positive growth in your market area.
- Work to convert losses into wins to the best of your ability.
- Get in front of potential problems in order to minimize potential loss.
- Travel to destinations to best facilitate business growth.
- Utilize senior staff for training and guidance.
- Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets.
- Researching the needs of other companies and who makes decisions about purchasing.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
- Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in-person

You will be developing and implementing new marketing strategies, coordinating internal teams, performing marketing research, reporting to senior management, identifying new business opportunities and maintaining client relationships.

Internship Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal capability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize different projects and stay on schedule.
- An understanding of how to interpret P&L, Earnings, and Inventory reports.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel domestically with occasional international travel.
Tools and Software Required
To accomplish their daily goals, Business Development interns will make use of the following tools:
- Using an ERP system like ( Oracal or Microsoft and SAP)
- Daily business software (Microsoft Office or Mac,)
- Strong research skills using all internet software
