- Extract data from database using SQL
- Manage & Sort Data in Microsoft PowerBI & Google Data Studio
- Create dashboards for reporting and analysis purpose
- Re-iterate based on feedback and new data
The intern will learn:
- How to handle big data in SQL
- Data about a real business
- How to derive real value from analysis

Internship Requirements
- Must know: SQL, PowerBI, Google Data Studio
- Must be able to commit to 20 hours a week minimum to the office in Greek Campus, Tahrir Square
- Must own their own laptop
- You must submit the following assignment to be considered for the position
- Assignment: Data Analyst SQL
- Task: Create a dashboard that visualises weather data. The key insight we want to give to the user is which month in the year they should travel to a city for a holiday in the future.
- We want to tell the user about temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed, UV etc.
- Top Tip: The weather data will be historical, but the user will be travelling in the future… how do you handle this?
- Data: Use open source public weather data available online.
- Tools: The dashboard must be created using Google Data Studio. How you handle the data is up to you.
- Submission: submit a public url to your Google Data Studio dashboard to recruitment@sequelsolutions.co.uk
- Top Tip: The main outcome of the dashboard should tell the user a city and a month. Eg Cairo, April. How will you ask the user about their preferences? Think about a UI/UX you can use in Google Data Studio to make this an interactive dashboard.
