Internship Description
Autotronics Research Laboratory (ARL) is a research center located at the Faculty of Engineering Ain Shams University, the Laboratory is dedicated to the research fields of advanced transportation systems which include autonomous driving high and low level control, autonomous driving behavior, perception, localization, vehicle to vehicle communications and vehicle to infrastructure communication. The lab is currently working in collaboration with University of Carlos the third De Madrid developing an autonomous personal mobility solution for closed urban environments on an electric golf cart.
Job Description:

Will be responsible for the design, implementation and integration of electric circuits required for the project, including interface, power conditioning, signal conditioning and protection circuits. Will also be responsible for the wiring and components selection needed for the application.
Internship Start date: 1/8/2019
Duration: 4 weeks
Internship Requirements
- Electrical, Energy or Mechatronics students who are in last 2 years are welcome to apply.
- Good understanding of Power Electronics and Electrical Machines.
- Good understanding of protection methods for electric circuits.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, C programming skills are preferred.
- Familiarity with PCB design and fabrication.
- Basic knowledge of wiring and grounding specifications.
- Basic knowledge of autonomous systems.
