Terms of Reference

• Position: Regional Programme Intern
• Location: Cairo – Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency 
• Duration: 6 Months

The selected intern should be prepared to relocate to Cairo and work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency field and Regional Cooperation.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Intern will work in one of RCREEE projects and under the direct supervision of the Project Manager carrying out the following duties:

General Qualifications:

• Recent graduate, holder of a BSc in: Engineering, Environmental Studies, Political Science, Economics or Business Administration.

• Excellent writing, editing and communications skills.

• Fluency in Arabic and one of the two languages, English or French, is a must;

• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines;

• Enthusiastic about the role of RCREEE and the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency field, and ready to learn.

• Internet proficiency as well as proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required

• The Internship Program operates on a remunerative basis. For interns from countries other than the host country, costs and arrangements for travel and visa is the responsibility of RCREEE.

• All interns will receive a monthly amount equiv

• Alent to 500 Euros to cover accommodation and living expenses.

• Interns are required to provide proof of medical insurance coverage for the internship period before starting the internship.
