India's office space is expected to increase five fold from now and 2030. Buildings are responsible for 30% of worlds energy and 40% of carbon emissions. Energy intensive office buildings rely extensively on air conditioning systems.This project explores passive techniques and climate responsive strategies to reduce the energy consumption in office buildings. Project involves green building principles and building energy simulation to optimize energy performance

• Learning building energy simulation.

• Learning about environmental sustainability.

• Learning about local building materials.

• Learning about local passive architecture.

• The intern will learn:

• Research experience and knowledge in specific, advanced Architecture fields.
