Job Description :

• An Android developer is in charge of developing applications for devices powered by the Android operating system. They have a strong understanding of the patterns and practices that revolve around such platform. Moreover, they ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application

Main activities :

• Strong idea on Deep-linking tools ( such as BranchIO).
• Strong idea on Analytics tools (Fabric, Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
• Minimum 5 app live in store.
• Picasso or any image loader library.
• Chat SDK (QuickBlox , OpenTok, WebRTC) ,FCM, Google API.
• Understanding of activity life-cycle, fragment, how views are drawn in Android, IPC mechanism.
• Content Provider understanding, Storage management (Content provider, SQLite).
• Different types of services (normal service, bound service, IntentService and AIDL Service).
• Strong idea on Thread, Multi Thread, AsyncTask and IntentService, CallBack handle.
• Experience in Mobile application development and understanding of Mobile best practices.
• Handler, LooperSolid grasp of algorithms, Memory management.
• Object oriented programming, MVC programming, and Concurrent programming.
• Strong design and programming skills.
• Solid understanding of operating system fundamentals such as processes, inter-process communication.
• Also, multi-threading primitives, race conditions and deadlocks.
• Ability to utilize native APIs to enable maps, in-app SMS and email features.
• Ability to develop applications that controls handset resources.
• Third party SDK integration (Social, Video, Audio).
• Payment Gateway integration (Paypal, Stripe, etc).
• Json and Volley library, Retrofit library, OKhttp, Google Maps.
