Housekeeping Supervisor - Internship

Job Description:

• Learn all standard operating procedures for roles assigned and execute in these roles with proficiency.
• Support leadership in onboarding and training new associates on service standards.
• Upon completion of the rotation, take on a supervisory role and lead property teams to achieve service delivery.
• Participate in daily stand up meetings within the department, updating associates with pass on information, today’s events and today’s
• Upon completion of training in a role, your proficiency will be shared with you through routine coaching sessions. This may result in being elevated to a supervisory role
• Assisting in drawing up the daily schedule
• Managing, adjusting and supervising the team’s tasks to ensure that the procedures and standards are respected
• Inspecting the cleaned patient rooms and public spaces
• First-line complaint handling about the housekeeping department
• Stock management: placing orders, monitoring cleaning uniforms
• Maintaining a positive working climate and a good relationship between employees to deliver optimum performance together with the team
• Assisting in various departments depending on the hustle and the needs of the operation to ensure the proper functioning of the hospital
