Internship Description
Main Role:
Coordinating the organization and scheduling of the Signal's podcasts. You will be working as part of the Signal - an emerging media platform for enabling creatives and innovators to share their experiences and tell their stories.
Job Description:
- Assisting with doing research and sourcing for the podcasts' guest
- Assisting with doing content research for the podcast topics
- Scheduling recording times with podcast hosts and guests
- Coordinating recording times with the audio production team and recording studio
- Ensuring that all necessary tasks are taken care of as per the recording checklist
- Follow up with guests and audio production team
- Maintaining the editing and upload schedule for the podcast
- Keeping track of podcast analytics
- Maintaining the podcast's social media channels as per the content calendar
The intern will learn:
- The ins and outs of the podcasting industry in Egypt and the MENA region
- Organizational and scheduling skills
- Communication and networking skills
- Content research, preparation and scheduling skills
- The process of building and growing a media platform

- The ability to work independently, handle structured tasks, and take on responsibility.
- Accuracy and attention to detail to the highest degree.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
