Spanish Teaching Intern

Job Description:

• The selected candidate will contribute in any one of these educational areas (1) Art & Craft (2) Music (3) Dance (4) Theatre (5) Sports (6) Communicative English (7) Early Childhood Education.

The intern will learn:

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons to all students in the class according to the teaching manual
• Adopt and work towards the implementation of the school's educational and development plans.
• Assign work, correct and mark the work carried out by his/her students;
• Assess, record and report on the development, progress, attainment and behaviour of the students;
• Promote the general progress and well-being of individual students, groups of students
• Consult and cooperate with other members of the school staff
• Ensure high standards of professional practice and quality of teaching and learning of the subject/s
• Participate in review and observation of class teaching practice.
• Participate in in-Service education and training courses;
• Maintain order and discipline among students under one’s care, safeguarding their health and safety
• Actively participate in any meetings (academic and non-academic) organized by the school admin
• Ensure safe custody and optimum use of equipment normally used by oneself during lessons
• Participating in school assemblies;
• Registering and monitoring the attendance of students under one’s care;
• Make use of audiovisual technological devices/aides to deliver lessons
